English Tunes: Ancient and Modern

I am so looking forward to returning to teach at TEEU for a third time! After the enthusiasm shown for my own compositions last time, I would love to share some of them with you in workshops this year. My repertoire consists of dance tunes in both English and bal-folk styles and try to find interesting rhythmical variations across the rows and across the hands to create arrangements, so you can expect to feel the grooves! If you're looking to expand your repertoire and are open to finding new ways to use your instrument then I look forward to welcoming you into my group.

Please note, sheet music will be provided, however, there will be emphasis on picking up riffs, melodies and bass lines by ear as this is the best way to develop feeling and musicality in your playing.
